How to find the lowest price for skincare in the UAE and Saudi Arabia
31 October 2026

The same cleanser can cost very different amounts depending on where you buy it. In the UAE and Saudi Arabia, a bottle you find for one price at a pharmacy can be a third cheaper online, or the other way round, and prices move every week. A few habits make a real difference to what you pay over a year.
1. Compare stores before you buy
Prices for the same product often differ a lot between pharmacies, beauty stores, supermarkets and marketplaces. Our price comparison lists the price at local stores in the UAE and Saudi Arabia side by side, from the lowest up. Search a product, a brand or an ingredient, then pick your country.
We only list stores that sell and deliver locally. That matters because a lower price from a store that ships from abroad can come with customs fees, long waits and a harder time returning the product.
2. Compare the price per 10 ml, not the price per bottle
A 473 ml cleanser almost always looks expensive next to a 236 ml one, but it often works out much cheaper per use. That is why our price pages also show the price per 10 ml (or per 10 g). Big sizes and refills usually win for products you use every day, like cleansers, moisturizers and body lotions.
The exception is anything with active ingredients that degrade once opened, such as vitamin C serums. A smaller bottle you finish while it is still fresh is better value than a big one that oxidises halfway through.
3. Check that it is the same product
- Size: the most common reason one store looks cheaper is a smaller size.
- Version: brands often sell a “foaming” and a “hydrating” version, or an old and a new formula, under almost the same name.
- Sets: gift sets can be good value, but only if you will use everything in them.
4. Time your big purchases
Skincare prices drop most during the big sale seasons in the region, such as White Friday in November, 11.11, and Ramadan and Eid offers. Pharmacies also run their own brand promotions every few weeks. If a product you use is on offer, stocking up on two or three bottles of something with a long shelf life is an easy saving.
Look at the expiry date when you stock up, and avoid buying several of anything you have not tried yet.
5. Watch the extras
- Delivery fees and minimum orders can wipe out a small price difference.
- Loyalty points and cashback at pharmacies add up if you buy there regularly.
- Coupons from the store’s own app or newsletter often stack with sale prices.
6. Cheaper is not always better
The lowest price is only good value if the product suits your skin. A simple routine with a gentle cleanser, a moisturizer and a daily sunscreen does more for most people than a shelf of expensive serums. Our routine builder suggests a short routine for your skin type, and every product in it links to the price comparison so you can buy each step where it costs least.
Prices on routine4u come from the stores’ own listings and are updated regularly, but they can change at any time. Always check the final price on the store before you pay.
